Today, 3^rd June 2020, it is 70 years since Sr Pierre Dullaghan and Sr Anne O’Connell made their First Profession.

Please remember these two wonderful women in your prayers and give thanks for their 70 years of service to the communities in which they lived and worked, including their long time here in Barrow.

It is sad that the Covid-19 virus stops us from joining in the celebrations that have to be postponed because of lockdown, but we can be with them in Spirit as they enjoy a quiet celebration with the community in St Gabriel’s Convent in Carlisle.

Both of them have done many interesting and demanding things in their lives “to make God known and loved” and have certainly lived their lives in the Spirit of the RSHM mission so “that all may have life”.

Congratulations to them both.

Unfortunately we are having some difficulties receiving transactions and donations, due to there being an error in the account name.
