   I’m an old man of 62 now, living in Macclesfield. I left Barrow in 1972, but was a parishioner of St. Mary’s at that time. From 1969 to 1971, I was a senior-member/helper at the Furness Catholic Youth Centre near the old St. Mary’s Primary school, set up in 1969 by dear Father Foulkes. He’d be over 80 by now, so I hope he’s still alive and well!
   I wish you every blessing with your youth-work in Barrow.

     Hello William, nice to hear from you. Fr Peter Foulkes is alive and well and is PP at St Bernadette’s in Lancaster. He will be retiring in September this year.
